One of the hallmarks of Risen Lord as a church is its level of hospitality. We are committed, as a church, to welcoming each and every person who comes through our doors and those we meet in the community. When God created the world he created it with a lot of variety, not just in plants and animals, but people too. And then God said, "It is good." That's just the way God likes it.

We attempt to receive and welcome every individual as an honored guest, both in the way we present ourselves and our church.

• Hospitality

  To make sure we are personally warm and welcoming, Risen Lord has a number of trained hosts for every worship service whose job it is to meet and greet all those who enter our doors on Sunday mornings. The hosts mingle through the crowd and stand at the door to make sure everyone has what they need.

• Café

  Each Sunday morning, Risen Lord provides coffee, beverages and donuts at an indoor/outdoor cafe.

• Campus

  Risen Lord moved into its current facility in December 2002. The vision is to make the building and campus an attractive and winsome place to be. Wide hallways, modern restrooms (including a family restroom), library, worship-full church, and nursery all make the current facility quite exciting.

• BAPTISM

Baptism marks an individual's entrance not merely into the church but into God's special family. Anyone considering becoming a Christian or raising their children as Christians are encouraged to speak to the Pastor about baptism. Risen Lord baptizes both infants and adults.

• Evangelism

  Risen Lord has a full team of people committed to reaching as many people in the community as possible. There are thousands of people living within a ten mile radius of Risen Lord who face a Christ-less eternity unless we reach them. This team helps Risen Lord do just that. Meeting at least once a month, it plans, develops strategies, and moves the church deeper into the life of the community for the sake of the gospel. The projects currently being worked on include:

One of the realities of modern life is that many people live some distance from family. People often lack those extensive relational networks to support them in times of crisis or change. At Risen Lord, we want to help fill the gap by surrounding people with love and support. The following ministries are currently at the heart of our desire to show care and concern for others.

  Food Chain delivers meals to people who are facing a significant change or crisis; moments like the birth of a new baby, moving to a new home, major health issues, or death.
