Sermon for Maundy Thursday

I would recommend watching this at your kitchen table if you have one. If you live alone, feel free to have dinner while you watch!

There have been many discussions among theologians and pastors whether it is appropriate to celebrate Holy Communion when we are worship at a distance. While I see both sides, I have decided to err on the side of grace and celebrate Holy Communion during this video.

If you would like to join me, you can get bread/crackers and wine/juice ready. If you are with others, please plan to pause the video and serve each other. If you would prefer not to commune, know that God's grace is with you.

Prayers and liturgy from Evangelical Lutheran Worship.
