Prayer Vigil

The Prayer Ministry Team will be sponsoring a Prayer Vigil at Risen Lord on February 22, 2020 8am – 8pm.  This Prayer Vigil is a time of continuous prayer by many people during the 12 hour period.  It is a powerful force in spiritual preparation as we join in God's mission for the world. Participating in the vigil offers the opportunity for a time of uninterrupted dialogue with God.

The vigil team invites all the members of Risen Lord and others in the community to join in prayer.  We will be scheduling hourly segments to make sure the chain of prayer is interrupted, though there is no limit to the number of people who can pray at any time. A sign-up sheet is posted outside of the church office. 

Your participation in this Prayer Vigil is most important as we look to dream God's dream for Risen Lord Lutheran Church and ask how God is calling us to engage the world around us in God's work of reconciliation, redemption and renewal.
