Tuesday Bible Study Opportunity began February 1, 2022
There are people in our community who believe the church won’t welcome them.
They have had particular scripture used to justify their exclusion and been treated accordingly. Join Pastor Wendy and other Risen Lord friends for an 8-week study on scripture that excludes and scripture that includes. This is a powerful study intended to shift Risen Lord into another gear of what it means to share God’s love with others through words and actions for the sake of those who have been excluded.
Tuesdays at 10:00-11:00 a.m. (February 1, 8, 15, 22, March 1, 8, 15, 22)
Participants can expect:
· To study difficult passages through a Lutheran lens of interpretation
· To have their perspectives heard and honored
· To be invited to ask difficult questions
· To have the Holy Spirit present in our conversations
· To pray when tension is felt
· To be encouraged to embrace reconciliation
· To deepen their connection with other participants
