She is at a training retreat to be a trainer for Excellence in Leadership, an initiative in the Rocky Mountain Synod of the ELCA, to nurture “courageous, resilient and faithful leaders for the sake of the world.” The class is an online class and open to anyone. This work is outside of her 32 hours/week with Risen Lord but is work for the larger Church.
Synod Assembly is Saturday, June 10
Please pray for the Indiana Kentucky Synod as leadership and delegates gather to approve ministry in our Synod to “empower, equip, and encourage the people of God to make Christ known.” Thank you to Karin Smith, Keith Buetow and Pastor Wendy for serving as the delegates from Risen Lord.
